The PrEclinical and TRAnslational network for neuro-oncology research PETRA is a structuring action of the Canceropôle Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur created in 2023 and dedicated to neuro-oncology research.
It brings together academic, clinical and socio-economic actors from the Southern Region around an integrated approach "from bedside to bench, and from bench to bedside" in order to bridge research and patient care in Neuro-oncology.
By ensuring continuity between preclinical research and rapid transfer to the clinic, the PETRA network aims to accelerate therapeutic development to improve patient care in 3 main areas:
The PETRA network has an “all inclusive” and multiscale offer for academic and private teams, developed through 2 platforms.
Preclinical models in neuro-oncology play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of brain tumors. With the support of the PETRA Network, researchers can benefit from advanced technologies and valuable advice from experts in the field, enhancing both preclinical research and translational research efforts.
Annotated Biological Resources for Neuro-oncology Support in Early Phase Clinical Trials. Our guidance and clinical consulting services are designed to facilitate preclinical research and translational research related to brain tumors, leveraging the expertise within the PETRA Network.
